Social and environmental responsibility in the supply chain contains many complex issues and challenges. It covers business ethics and working conditions at suppliers and sub-suppliers as well as climate, emissions, impact on biodiversity and other environmental aspects.Together with Lantmännen, Unibake works systematically with risk identification, management and follow-up related to suppliers.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct apply to all suppliers, regardless of what product or service they deliver, and clarifies our expectations on environment, business ethics, social responsibility and working conditions.

Every crop has an environmental footprint and we want to ensure visibility of where our raw materials come from and how they are produced – in line with our Supplier Code of Conduct.
The biggest sourcing categories in Lantmännen Unibake’s business are flour, butter and other raw materials transportation and warehousing are other major sourcing categories in our business. We aim for long term and developing relations with our suppliers, where responsibility and profitability go hand in hand.
